Hasbro set to file law suit against Tim Redding...

Rumor has it that Hasbro will file a law suit against New York Mets Pitcher Tim Redding on Monday. Hasbro has been forced to stop production of its Monopoly Board game. Players refuse to pay $200 for the Railroad. The gaming giant is claiming that Tim Redding had devalued the game property. Unfortunately for Tim, his pitching line today was 4IP, 8H, 7ER, 2BB, 2K...OUCH! I'd settle Timmy if I were you. Now we know why MVP Candidate Omir Santos refused to play today.

My response to Ryan O's post, who's probably 7 white wine spritzers deep right now at Citti field, is one of pity. I'm sorry Murphy looked like Helen Keller in LF. I'm sorry the gem of your farm system doesn't know how to run out pop outs. I'm sorry your team doesn't know to spend wisely. Ollie P, couldn't even make it thru a rehab start. Back to Port St Lucie. Where you can get a condo for 60K and a steak dinner special at 4pm for $6. The only thing special about Perez is that he saved you 3 million. The Mets should have gone to Lowes.

Pettite and Yanks Pullout Another Win Thanks to Payroll

The Yanks beat Texas 3-1 last night to take over 1st place in the AL East. What was most impressive is that they keep winning even though they are currently playing in actual regulation big league ballparks, as opposed to the new Yankee Stadium. Girardi said he had to credit the payroll for their 13th win in the past 16. So the Yanks keep rolling but their concern shifts to starting pitcher Andy Pettite, who had to removed from the game in the 6th with back problems. Pettite was heard saying that "he knew a guy who could help him" as he left the stadium with a roll of $20's in his hand.

So as Pettite goes down the Yanks welcomed back Jorge Posada who had 2 hits in his first game since missing the last 22. He's pretty good but he pales in comparison to (in my humble non-biased opinion) the current top NL MVP candidate Omir Santos! Santos drove in both Mets runs, the second being a walkoff hit in the 11th to drive in (in my humble non-biased opinion) the 2nd leading candidate in the NL MVP race Gary Sheffield. Mike pelfrey was strong again in earning the ND, but he did compile his 7th staright start of allowing 3 runs or less. Good stuff from the future Cy Young winner.

Other Mets news, Ramon Castro was traded last night for a guy who was meant for this big stage...Lance Broadway. Broadway should be the missing piece that will carry the Mets to a World Series Championship, even though i dont know what position he plays or who he is.

Going to the Met game today! Gotta go, will report later.

Uggla's play in the field costs Marlins game 1

Omir Santos drives in the winning run as the Buffalo Bisons defeat the New Orleans Zephyrs (and what the hell is a Zephyr). As much as los mets drive me crazy, you have to tip your sombrero to them. Omir Santos? David Wright strikes out twice in critical situations and Omir Santos gets it done, jeez! Met fans owe it all to Mr Ugly himself. Honestly, Ugly Betty would have at least knocked the ball, she might have even caught it. Uglla's play in the field looks like Marla Hooch... what a hitter! Tomorrow on PBS, Ryan O presents Redding Rainbow, lets go fish! We'll get into the Emil Brown trade later in the weekend.
In Cleveland, the bombers stop the Indian's win streak and get back into first place. Next up, the CC Express. I think we need to pop the top on a mc ultra to celebrate. Note to self, contact McDonalds about selling McUltras.
